The Vermont Garden Network encourages, supports, and sustains a dynamic statewide network of gardens where people live, learn and work. Our people and programs:
- TEACH people how to start and grow gardens at home, in school and in community
- TRAIN garden leaders and educators to maintain these spaces
- CONNECT local garden leaders to resources – and most importantly, to each other
- PROVIDE garden and nutrition education to children and adults across Vermont
- ADVOCATE for community-based food systems that are fair and just
- FUND garden projects (nearly 300 over the past 12 years: see past grants)
